The City of Yarra have generously funded yarraReporter to create a projection and art installation at Atherton Gardens for the 2011 Gertrude Street Projection Festival, which will run in July next year.
The festival has been running for three years and this will be the first time the public housing estate will become involved on a large scale. We are currently seeking AG residents, as well as artists and the broader community who would like to be involved in this project to attend initial workshops and develop this into an amazing, engaging community arts project.

Great to hear that Atherton Gardens is getting involved...
Having been to the Festival in the first year and seeing the fantastic lights and artwork on Gertrude Street but noticing the darkness on the estate, it is great to hear that Atherton Gardens is getting involved in the Gertrude Street Projection Festival! - And well done to Infoxchange and Anya for making this happen. Looking forward to seeing what is produced by the talented folk at AG in 2011.
