Copyright remains with the author. Articles may be reproduced elsewhere but we ask that yarraReporter is attributed with first publication.

By submitting work you warrant that you have read and adhere to yarraReporter's Editorial Content Policy, and that your work is original, has not been published elsewhere (including online), and does not breach copyright or defame any person. yarraReporter will not publish material that is untrue, seeks to defame others, or otherwise contravenes yarraReporter's editorial policies. We seek submissions on social issues stories that suit our audience who mostly live in the City of Yarra's housing estates.

Pitches for articles are welcome. Unsolicited pieces can be submitted to a maximum length of 800 words.

We seek writers, illustrators and cartoonists’ donation of work.

Avoid using jargon, dot points, numbered paragraphs and unexplained acronyms. Please provide hyperlinks to any documents, media reports or websites to which the article refers. NO footnotes.

Also don’t embed links in the text, please include suitable links separate from the article text. Please assume you are writing for a non-expert but engaged readership. A short biographical note should be included. Anonymity, if essential, will be protected. Suggestions for illustrations are welcome.
